These ciphers were designed before modern computing. They can be broken in milliseconds by any standard cryptanalysis tool. Tool Accuracy

Our automatic substitution cipher solver uses a statistical hill-climbing algorithm. It is highly effective on well-formed English ciphertext but may not find the correct solution for very short texts, non-English plaintexts, or ciphertexts with unusual character distributions.
